Goldvertise, a Leading CTV Premium Sales House in the DACH Region, Selects Publica by IAS as a New CTV Ad Server to Maximise Revenue Across all Demand Sources
BERLIN — Sept. 11, 2025 — Publica by IAS, the leading independent ad server purpose built for Connected TV (CTV), announced today that Goldvertise, a specialist in marketing moving image content including linear TV, CTV, and online video, has chosen Publica as an ad serving partner for CTV inventory in Germany and the wider DACH region. Goldvertise, formerly known as Goldbach Germany, a subsidiary within the Goldbach Group, manages a portfolio of over 45 Connected TV partners, more than 40 linear special interest TV channels, and an extensive online portfolio with up to 1.5 billion monthly ad requests.
The partnership enables Goldvertise to manage the delivery, decisioning and measurement across its publishers network’s CTV inventory– providing greater control, transparency, and optimisation to maximise revenue and deliver seamless viewing experiences. Unlike other ad servers that may prioritise proprietary demand or connections to a given SSP or DSP, the partnership puts Goldvertise in full control of their monetisation strategy, leveraging Publica’s award-winning server-side unified auction technology to agnostically connect to over 50 sources of programmatic and direct demand.
In addition to seamlessly managing programmatic and direct inventory and providing sophisticated monetisation tools via unified auctions and smart pod construction, Publica’s end-to-end solutions include server-side ad insertion (SSAI), real-time reporting and insights, granular contextual and audience controls, and AI-powered detection and classification across VOD and livestreaming content.
“By integrating Publica by IAS as an ad server into our tech stack, we are deliberately opting for a solution that enables transparent, flexible, and independent monetisation across our entire publisher portfolio,” said Mario Neumann, Director Corporate Development at Goldvertise. “The CTV market is highly fragmented – as a portfolio sales house, it is essential for us to remain technologically agnostic in order to consistently provide our partners with state-of-the-art solutions. This partnership marks another important step towards delivering scalable, data-driven, and future-proof advertising solutions in one of Europe’s fastest-growing CTV regions.”
CTV continues to see exponential growth in Europe. According to IAB Europe’s AdEx Benchmark Report, in 2024 SVOD (subscription video on-demand) ad spend grew 222 percent, with Broadcaster video on-demand (BVOD) spend up by 29.5 percent, and ad-funded video on-demand (AVOD) rising by 16.9 percent across the region. In Germany alone, according to Statista Market Insights, ad spend for CTV was around €384 million in 2024, projected to rise to around €466 million by 2029. In a study conducted by Goldvertise, it found that in Germany 73% of all respondents have at least one internet-enabled TV set at home and that 58% of all respondents use connected TV on a weekly basis.
“As a leading video publisher network, Goldvertise is committed to delivering exceptional advertising experiences on CTV,” said Cameron Miille, Chief Revenue Officer at Publica by IAS. “The DACH region is one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing CTV markets in Europe. This collaboration underscores our mission to help global publishers unlock the full value of their inventory through our innovative technology and offering truly platform-agnostic access to demand.”
Publica by IAS was named Best CTV AdTech Platform in the 2024 Digiday Technology Awards. Its technology empowers publishers to both innovate and differentiate their global advertising strategies.
Publica by IAS helps global publishers and TV manufacturers deliver a seamless ad experience to audiences via the introduction of Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI), while also helping publishers maximise revenue by running a unified-auction between multiple SSPs and DSPs. Publica by IAS is open, modular and interoperable, supporting programmatic transparency, testing and the development of new publisher yield strategies.
