IAS & Facebook Work on Brand Safety Offering for Advertisers

One of our goals at IAS is to provide the most comprehensive solution across devices and platforms to ensure our client’s advertisements reach their key audiences and appear in brand safe environments. This coverage includes deep partnerships across the ecosystem.

As we work to ensure our clients have the resources they need to carry out successful campaigns, we defined a robust roadmap outlining how we will develop and roll out new products. In our effort to ensure comprehensive brand safety coverage, we have been working with Facebook on a brand safety offering to help advertisers manage where their ads will appear across the  Facebook platform. This offering will be available to all advertisers in the first half of 2019.

The Facebook brand safety solution will help advertisers understand the level of risk associated with pages and publishers they want to place ads on. This offering will include the following placements: Facebook Audience Network (FAN), Instant Articles, and In-stream (includes Facebook Watch).
