It’s been 3 long years since the crème de la crème of advertising descended on Cologne, but the wait is almost over, as DMEXCO 2022 is just around the corner. Even if you’re a seasoned DMEXCO-er, you may feel as though time has muddied the mind and you’ve forgotten everything. If you’re a first timer, we have some bad news – you won’t be jetting off to Cancun. We all know there’s no I in team, but unfortunately for us, there isn’t one in DMEXCO, either.
But fear not – with all that DMEXCO has to offer you’ll forget about the tequila in no time, and we’ve compiled a list of all the best events to attend this year to help you on your way. Whether you’re looking for a high-end networking dinner where the delegate’s watches are insured for more than your house, or a thumping party where you’ll see the sun come up – we got you covered.
But first, if it is your first time, here’s a few of our top tips to get around like a pro:
- Download the DMEXCO app now to access your ticket! Don’t do it in the cab on the way to the messe.
- It’s business casual all the way, but make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes – there’s more standing involved than a King’s guard.
- If you can walk to the messe, do it. Taxis are a commodity only for the well prepared or the lucky.
- If you’re attending booth parties, don’t just stick to one. Make sure you take a good walk around and experience as much as possible.
- Stages can get busy, so if there’s something you really want to see get there a little early.
- Stay hydrated! Remember, beer doesn’t hydrate as well as water no matter how hard you pray for it.

PRE-DMEXCO EVENTS
If you’re going to make the most of DMEXCO, we recommend you’ll need to warm-up with a couple of choice events that will be happening the day before things kick off at the Kölnmesse.

Asana After Hours

How: Just turn up!
What: On Wednesday 21st September from 6:30pm until midnight, Asana will be hosting a party at booth B-030 to wrap up Day 1 of DMEXCO! Put on your party hat and join them for an evening of drinks, nibbles, good tunes, and networking. If they can organize a party as well as they can organize your schedule then you’ll be in good hands!
Learn with Erik Siekmann, Dr. Markus Wübben and Martin
