We are excited to announce that we have received a continuing accreditation from the Media Rating Council (MRC) for our integration, processing, and reporting of third-party data from Meta, including impressions and two-second video viewability data for Facebook Feed and Instagram Feed and Stories. All MRC accredited services are required to be re-audited on an annual basis.
“We applaud IAS for its commitment to the MRC process and for successfully maintaining accreditation for its processing and reporting of Meta data,” said George W. Ivie, executive director and CEO, Media Rating Council. “Having a third-party source that independently calculates the key metrics from contributing data sources is critical to the integrity of many of today’s verification services.”
IAS helps customers make every ad impression count through our global measurement capabilities, and the continuing accreditation of the Meta third-party data integration represents IAS’s latest step toward bringing greater transparency to the industry.
The complete scope of the accreditation covers Impressions, Viewability [Two-Second Video] and GIVT filtration, inclusive of Facebook Feed for Display and Video in Desktop Web, Mobile Web and In-app, Instagram Feed and Stories for Display and Video In-app, and Facebook In-Stream Video for Mobile and Desktop as well as Facebook Mobile Video Channel and Mobile App Feed. With integrated third-party reporting from IAS on Facebook and Instagram, advertisers gain a clear understanding of their ad investment and performance, with control to optimize their campaigns toward viewable inventory.
“Our work with Meta has added tremendous value to our products and services, and we are proud that this important aspect of our business bears the seal of approval from the MRC,” said Kevin Alvero, Chief Compliance Officer, Integral Ad Science. “We continue to prove again and again that we are dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy, transparent and actionable data to our clients and the marketplace.”
